Links can become invalid if you change the underlying structure of their source database table, or if you move the source table to a new location. In these cases, the structure specified by the link template used to create the links is no longer valid, and link templates and any associated links must be updated.
The Synchronize dialog box provides a list of detected errors. Certain errors (such as a resized column in the source database table) can be fixed directly from the Synchronize dialog box. Other errors (such as links that point to nonexistent records) must be fixed in the source database table.
